Just clicked on my settings and found out I, too, am locked away on Twitter. My geek credentials are impressive, huh?

David:

I am in exactly your situation. I did recently add TUAW twitter account to see the Macworld posts. I am still just checking the app out but have little understanding or appreciation of it.

I think if all my best friends were on and we could all communicate with each other all day with this, it would be fabulous. But none of my friends would EVEN consider doing such a thing. I am the one geek among them; and my geek credentials are limited.

Anyway, I looked you up and saw a red lock next to you. I do not even know what that means. I had no idea you could shut yourself up on Twitter; I thought the idea was to broadcast yourself?

So, I am not much help.
