I am having my Logic Board replaced today, on warrenty for my mac pro. The problem manifested itself as no audio signal from lineout/speaker socket at rear of case

i'm in the process of getting my 2nd logic board replaced. unfortunately because i'm abroad, it's taking longer than a few days, and the repair man didn't give me any explanation (language barrier). the first time i had problems, the display wasn't working and i also had to get a new screen. this time the display is also not working, but the whole thing won't boot up either.

This wasn't on the MacBook Air but my older MacBook Pro. The problem was the right USB port which on this moel is attached to the logic board. Had it been the USB ports on the left side, it apparently would not have needed a logic board but something else.

Looks like there might be some issues with logic boards on some recent builds - my MacBook Air is in the shop for the same reason (I ordered it the day after the keynote so it is is in the first builds). I had not used the Air for a couple of days and when I booted it up a couple of days, nothing came on. Did not have a change to de-register so hopefully will not have a problem with authorizing iTunes.
