Stephen showed up wearing Meta glasses this week, and before he said a word I wanted to know if I was being indexed somewhere.
That’s roughly the energy of this whole feedback episode. We work through iOS 27 beta 3’s Siri indexing (every device builds its own, every time, no cloud shortcuts), the trick of mirroring Gmail into the stock Mail app just so Siri can find your shirt order, and a batch of small Shortcuts and Finder fixes that actually matter.
Then we test the new Photos Extend and Reframe tools on a real picture of the two of us, and Extend correctly extends my jeans before adding a stranger’s hand wearing someone else’s watch.
We get into subscription fatigue, my defense of paying developers what their apps are worth, and Stephen finally talks me into covering my lightsaber holder collection on the record.
Automation Corner brings a pile of new Shortcuts and the story of the email robot I built to handle Circle support tickets while I sleep. Plus a Thunderbolt dock hot enough to double as a space heater. It’s a long one, but that’s what feedback episodes are for.
