Apple spent the week raising prices. Apple Music, Apple One, iCloud+ in eight countries, and iPhone prices in Japan all went up, landing right on top of last week’s AppleCare increase.

Claude is Free for Teachers & Educators! (Labs Discussion Board)
A member heard at an education conference that Anthropic launched a free Claude plan for teachers and dropped the news for the group. The thread got into how much of a teacher’s admin load AI could actually take off their plate.
Golden Gate beta experiences (Labs Discussion Board)
A member has all three of his Macs on the Golden Gate developer beta and reports them running well, with one snag: a printer RIP driver conflict on his photography workstation that has him printing straight from Lightroom for now. A useful read if you’re weighing the beta on a machine you actually depend on.
