I have a long history of appreciating inappropriate and useless fonts, starting, of course, with San Francisco back on the original Mac.

Kottke recently pointed me to Bastardica, “a foundry for bastard web fonts”, which I enjoyed reviewing with much relish, although I couldn’t imagine ever using one.

My particular favorite is Sneaky Bastard, which is “Times New Roman but every 7th glyph is Arial, scaled 90% to match size.”
