Scrivener 2.0 – Avoiding Feature Glut

As Scrivener 2.0 approaches, the developer explains the features it will not include and why. It is refreshing to see a developer talk about the how and why of feature decisions. The SimpleNote sync makes my heart go pitter-patter.

Scrivener completely changed my "tactical approach" to writing. Instead the default start at the top and work to the bottom approach of Microsoft Word, ( which is the only tool we were are ever given by our employers ) Scrivener helps me think on the fly and record all the thoughts and nots that I need. After two years I'm still finding ways to improve my workflow and let my thinking flow naturally.

It's good to know that I am not alone my incredible excitement (I'm pittering big time, have yet to feel the patters…) over SimpleNote integration with Scrivener. Cannot wait!
