Jordi Bruin’s MacWhisper shipped version 14, and it’s already up to 14.1. The big addition is a new Editor View. You can edit a transcript right in the main transcript screen now, add paragraphs more easily, reassign speakers faster, and favorite the parts you want to keep. Performance improved too.

Transcripts are more valuable than ever as we try to give our AI assistants more context. I use MacWhisper daily as a result.

Scam sites ending in .org have also been impersonating MacWhisper, and their download links install malware. Get MacWhisper only from macwhisper.com, the official Gumroad page, or the Mac App Store.
