The Monday Brief (MacSparky Labs)

As much as I enjoy the holidays, I also like returning to work. Does that make me a weirdo? It’s definitely a thing when you have a job you love. As we head into the new year, I’m setting up my new Focused 2023 wall calendar, and I have decided to take advantage of those four empty dots on each day this year. I mean these…

The Monday Brief (MacSparky Labs)

I hope everyone is enjoying a happy holiday season and getting some time off. As I write this, we are finding ourselves in the week between Christmas and New Year. That is the time in the United States when all the weight loss companies blow their entire advertising budget. There’s a reason for that. There’s something about “January 1” that we can’t help but feel a sense of renewal and fresh starts…

I wrote a post for my public newsletter Friday explaining that you should neither view AI as your savior nor your enemy. Instead, if used correctly, it’s another computer-based tool to help you be more productive. It will make mediocre work easier, but it can also help you do superior work. The Monday Brief (MacSparky Labs)

I’ve been counseling the Labs members to wait for a new MacBook Pro since I think the M2 versions are not far off. However, I received a note from lab member Brian explaining he couldn’t wait any longer and asked if I thought it was a mistake to buy an M1 MacBook Pro now. In short, my reply was “no”… This is a post for MacSparky Labs Tier 2 (Backstage) and Tier 3 (Early Access) Members only. Care to join? Or perhaps do you need to sign in?

The Monday Brief (MacSparky Labs)

I hope everyone had an excellent weekend. The weather is really nice here in the Southern California right now so I spent a lot of my weekend split between working in the garden and spending time with my kids. It was a great way to recharge, which is good because this week I’m digging in on Field Guides and really putting Endor Studios to use…
